Let's Keep the Northern Parishes Rural!

Let's stop Labour concreting over the countryside - complete our survey

Labour's plans for house building mean that there will be a 264% annual increase in development across West Lancashire - a huge 605 new houses per year.

This is equivalent to 5x the Seddon Estate in Banks or 3x the Alty's development in Hesketh Bank - every year! Conservatives are clear that our rural villages cannot cope with these huge increases, with massive pressures already on our local schools, drainage, village amenities, dentists and GP's.

Thomas de Freitas, the Conservative candidate in the Northern Parishes for this year's local elections, is campaigning to make sure your voice is heard. Complete our survey to let us know your views and support Thomas' campaign to keep the Northern Parishes rural.

Labour are imposing plans to increase house building by 264% in our area, equivalent to 605 new homes per year. Around 5x the Seddon Estate in Banks, or 3x the Alty's development in Hesketh Bank - annually. Do you agree with this target?
Do you think our local community infrastructure - drainage, school spaces, GP appointments, roads, dentists - can cope with the increased levels of development being proposed by Labour?
Thomas de Freitas, the Conservative candidate in this year's local elections, lives, works and grew up in the Northern Parishes. Do you think it is important that your councillor is local and understands the issues facing our area?
Do you support Thomas' campaign to keep any development in Mere Brow, Banks, Hesketh Bank and Tarleton limited to only what our area can cope with?
