A Council by-election has been announced for Dukes Ward after the resignation of dedicated Conservative Councillor Pat Ball.
Pat Ball was elected as a councillor in 2011 and has worked hard to represent the residents of Dukes throughout her time as a councillor.
Members of the Conservative Party would like to thank Pat Ball and Chairman of the Conservative Association here in Southport Harry Bliss says “I wish to thank Pat for all her efforts during her time as a Councillor. Pat has made an invaluable contribution during that time and was widely known throughout the town and Dukes ward. Her deep knowledge and experience of Southport will be missed.”
