Yesterday the newly elected Conservative MP for Southport Damien Moore gave his maiden speech to parliament, paying tribute to my predecessors, Dr John Pugh and Sir Ian Percival QC, and highlighting some of Southport’s many local issues.
In particular, Damien Moore MP raised concerns amongst his constituents, many of whom feel that they have too often been taken for granted as their income is diverted to other parts of Merseyside.
