Sefton’s Conservative Councillors were recently given a tour of the newly refurbished Southport Market which is scheduled to open towards the end of June.
Town Centre Councillor Sir Ron Watson is actively pursuing with a degree of urgency policies to deal with a practical element of discarded chewing gum on the streets and pavements.
There is to be a report submitted to the Southport Operational Group at his request which will bring together options
Last week, the people of Southport made sure that their voice was heard by voting in local elections, Police and Crime Commissioner elections and Liverpool City Region mayoral elections.
The Conservatives have been out in force this week, campaigning in their respective Wards, delivering leaflets across Southport, with the local elections only a few short weeks away.
